This all started out when I had my second wonderful child, and left a high stress job in the HR field. This is a labor of love. Supported by so many friends and family, and for them, I am eternally grateful. I decided to focus on my creative spirit, making people happy with gifts and items that would brighten their day. I had been making "stuff" for years. I always thought one day I will do something with this energy inside of me. My sister in law told me I should start a business and I really thought she was nuts, but I listened anyhow( thank you)!! My Dad ( who gratefully thinks I can do anything) always called me Doo-Dah or Doodles when I was a kid, and so.... Dede's Doodles began!
We are different in that we are not a commerce web site ( to those in the non-commuter speak land) that means, you can not just pick and click and order.
We pride ourselves on personal care. Whether that means you call and speak to us, or you just see what you want and email us, we always have contact with a client. We will email you back your total, the details of your order and answer any questions you may have, you also choose your choice of payment. We accept checks, Money Orders or payment through paypal.
***All personalized items are non-returnable and no exchanges can be made. ( sorry folks, got stuck with some wacky names on stuff, and we learned our lesson).
We will gladly work with you on any non-personalized returns or exchanges. Returns will be accepted on items for 30 days from purchase. If it was a gift, a credit can be issued or you can exchange, but are responsible for the return shipping to us.
Our web site is an ongoing changing thing, so you always want to check back, especially during the holidays, when we will run some crazy specials, maybe even at weird hours just for fun!!!
